Spring Into Action!
Help us “Spring into Action” by supporting our donation drive benefiting, Safe Harbor of Sheboygan County, Inc.. Established in September 1990 as a domestic abuse program to provide prevention, intervention, education, and outreach service to empower individuals, families, and the community to end domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking. As an organization, they mostly shelter women and children, but do provide service to men as well as outreach clients. By relying on community support, services are provided at no cost to the recipient and are unique in Sheboygan county. These services are provided to empower the recipients to live lives free of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
For the entire month of May, Advanced Dental Care Clinic will be hosting a donation drive benefiting Safe Harbor. We have set up a box for items to be donated inside our office located at: 62 S. Pleasant View Rd. in Plymouth. Donations of non-perishable food/drinks, personal care items, twin-sized bedding, clothing, and cleaning supplies help keep the shelter running and make a positive impact on those seeking help. For a more detailed list of items, please contact our office. All donations are requested to be NEW and in their original packages to ensure the utmost respect for the clients. All are welcome to donate, whether you are a current patient or not, if you’re bringing something along to your appointment, or just wanting to drop something off; we appreciate any donation!
To show our appreciation, we are holding a camping basket raffle which includes a 4-person instant tent, 2 fold-able chairs, 2 sleeping bags, 2 extending fire roasting forks, a s’mores kit, and a collapsible LED lantern. For every item donated, you will get one (1) entry for our raffle; the more donated items, the more entries for our raffle! Items can be donated throughout the entire month of May, Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The winner of our camping basket will be announced in June!
Together, we can work to build a community with zero tolerance for sexual and domestic abuse. Together, we are making a difference.
