Created from plastic materials, Sealants are bonded on the pits and fissures of affected teeth . The plastic material bonds to the grooves of teeth, acting as a barrier for plaque and tartar. Sealants help prevent decay and protect the enamel of teeth! This preventive dental treatment protects the vulnerable areas of teeth, places where a toothbrush just cannot reach!

Sealants are a simple, economical dental treatment, which require only minutes to complete. During the procedure the areas will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for treatment. A bonding material is then applied, allowing the Sealants to fasten to the natural surface of teeth. Once the Sealant is bonded the procedure is complete. Our dentists will monitor the Sealants over the course of routine dental check-ups and reapply where necessary.
